8 Days
Beautiful Nepal
We handle the Flights, Hotels, and Mountain Walks. No long bus rides. No messy planning. Just show up.
Everything you get on this trip.
Important: This list is what we usually do. However, we may change some things depending on the season and if the mountain views are clear. We want you to be safe and see the best views.
Siliguri to
Kathmandu.
We start the journey early to avoid traffic at the border. The goal is to get you into Kathmandu by afternoon so you have time to see the city lights.
The Morning Mission
We pick you up from Siliguri in a private car. The drive to the Kakarbhitta Border takes about 45 minutes. After a quick paper check, we drive another 30 minutes to Bhadrapur Airport.
The Flight Experience
You will board a short 45-minute flight to Kathmandu. This is much better than the 15-hour bus ride. Upon landing, our private driver will pick you up and take you straight to your hotel in Thamel.
Temples, Squares
& Local Flavor.
A relaxed day seeing the best heritage sites and eating local food like a pro.
The Old Palace
We walk through Durbar Square. Look at the wood carvings—they are hundreds of years old. If we are lucky, we see the Living Goddess (Kumari) at her window.
The Best View
At Boudhanath, we go to a hidden rooftop. You get a private view of the giant stupa and the mountains without the crowds.
Evening Prayer
We finish at Pashupatinath. We watch the Evening Aarti ceremony by the river. It is very peaceful and special.
Flight to the Peaks
& Lakeside Chill.
Leaving the city behind for the mountains. A short flight followed by a relaxed afternoon by the water in Pokhara.
Lakeside Vibe
After landing, we head straight to the Lakeside. The air is cleaner here and the vibe is much slower. We check into the hotel and head out for a walk by the water.
The Coffee Corner
We know a small spot that serves the best local Himalayan Java. It has a tiny balcony that sits right over the edge of the lake. Perfect for a quiet afternoon.
Sunset Point
Instead of the main crowd, we take a short walk to a hidden pier. You get to watch the sun go down behind the mountains with zero noise.
The Hidden Side
of the Lake.
A day to explore the quiet spots around Phewa Lake. No crowds, just good views and local food.
Phewa Lake Boat Ride
We spend an hour on the water. We visit the Tal Barahi Temple in the middle of the lake, but we do it early to avoid the main tourist rush.
The Best Momos
We walk to a small shop that only locals know. Their buff momos and spicy sesame chutney are the best in the city. Very simple, very real.
The Secret Ridge
We take a short walk up a small ridge. From here, you see the whole lake on one side and the big white mountains on the other. It's a great spot for photos.
Coffee & Quiet
We finish at a tiny cafe with wooden chairs right by the water. You can just sit, watch the paragliders in the sky, and relax.
The High Ridge Walk.
Today we leave the car behind. We walk up to a high ridge to get closer to the big peaks. It's quiet, clean, and very beautiful.
The Morning Ascent
We drive 45 minutes to the start of the trail. The walk up takes about 3 to 4 hours. It is an uphill path through local villages and forests. You will see the local life away from the city.
The "Big Three" View
When we reach the ridge, the view opens up. You see Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Annapurna, and Dhaulagiri right in front of you. There are no crowds here—just the wind and the mountains.
The Local Stay
We stay the night in a simple, clean local lodge on the ridge. The rooms are basic but the view from the window is better than any 5-star hotel. We have hot local tea and dinner by the fire.
Down the Mountain
& Back to the City.
We finish our walk on the ridge and catch a flight from Pokhara back to the lights of Kathmandu.
The Morning Walk
We wake up early for the mountain sunrise and then walk back down the trail. It takes about 2 to 3 hours to reach the bottom. It's easier than the climb, but good for the legs.
Fly Back to KTM
We take a short flight back to Kathmandu. Our car will be waiting at the airport to take you back to your hotel in Thamel. The hot shower and the city energy feel great after the trek.
Thamel Nightlife
Back in the city. You have the evening to visit your favorite cafes or explore new backlanes. We recommend a local live music bar to celebrate the successful trek.
The Celebration
Enjoy a heavy local dinner. After 2 days on the mountain, the wide choice of food in Thamel is a perfect reward. We can guide you to a quiet spot if you're tired.
Zero Schedule.
Your Day, Your City.
No early alarms today. This is a full day to explore the corners of Kathmandu you missed, or just relax in Thamel.
Explore Thamel
Thamel has hundreds of tiny lanes. Today is the day to get lost in them. You can find everything from handmade incense and singing bowls to high-quality mountain gear at local prices.
Cafe Culture
Kathmandu has some of the best coffee spots in the East. We recommend finding a garden cafe hidden away from the main road. It’s the perfect place to write your notes or just watch the world go by.
Monkey Temple
If you still have energy, take a short taxi to Swayambhunath. It sits on a hill and gives you a 360-degree view of the whole Kathmandu valley. It’s best visited during the late afternoon.
We handle everything.
You just show up.
Home Pickup
We start at your door in Siliguri. Our private car picks you up and handles the drive to the border and the airport. No taxis, no waiting.
Border Command
Crossing at Kakarbhitta can be messy. Our team handles the paperwork and logistics so you walk through the border in minutes, not hours.
Flight Control
We book your domestic flights in Nepal. We don't use buses for long distances. You fly over the traffic and save days of travel time.
Verified Stays
We don't use "random" hotels. Every hotel in Kathmandu and Pokhara is hand-checked by us for cleanliness, safety, and the best views.
Local Pro Guide
A local expert is with you for every major move. From finding the best Momos to knowing which ridge has the best mountain view, we lead the way.
Total Return
At the end of the 8 days, we fly you back and drive you directly to your home in Siliguri. The service only ends when you are safely back.
Myth vs. Reality
The Myth
“It’s just a short drive from the border to Kathmandu. We can take a bus to save money.”
The Real
The road is narrow, twisty, and full of trucks. A bus can take 15 hours. We fly you from Bhadrapur in 45 minutes so you don't waste your first two days being tired.
The Myth
“Indian ₹500 and ₹200 notes are illegal in Nepal. I should only carry small change.”
The Real
As of 2026, ₹500 notes are legal for Indian tourists up to a limit. However, ₹100 notes are still the "Local King"—they are accepted everywhere without questions or bad exchange rates.
The Myth
“Nepal food is exactly like North Indian food. I will just get Daal-Roti everywhere.”
The Real
Nepal has its own soul. You haven't tasted Nepal until you try Buff Momos (Buffalo meat) and Newari Khaja sets. The spices are different, and the Bubble Tea in Thamel is a must.
The Myth
“Trekking is only for athletes. I am not fit enough to see the big mountains.”
The Real
Our 1-Day Ridge Walk is built for regular people. If you can walk for 3 hours, you can do it. You don't need to be a climber to stand in front of the Annapurna peaks.

Road Guide
We use the B.P. Highway for all ground travel. It is a Japan-built masterpiece—short, scenic, and safe.
The "Old Route" takes 16 hours and is full of heavy trucks. We avoid this completely to keep you fresh and safe.
Distance & Time Log
| Route Segment | Distance | Method | Travel Time |
|---|---|---|---|
| Siliguri to Kakarbhitta | 32 KM | Private Car | ~45 Mins |
| Bhadrapur to Kathmandu | 297 KM | Domestic Air | 45 Mins |
| Kathmandu to Pokhara | 200 KM | Domestic Air | 25 Mins |
| Kakarbhitta to Kathmandu | 430 KM | B.P. Highway | ~10 Hours |
The Truth about the Road
While the B.P. Highway is beautiful, it is winding. If you get motion sickness, we recommend taking a light tablet before the drive. This is why we prefer flying—it's 45 mins vs 10 hours of curves.
Important Places.
Thamel, Kathmandu
The main hub for travelers. It is full of small shops, local gear, and the best cafes in the city. It is loud, busy, and the best place to feel the energy of the city.
Boudhanath Stupa
The massive white dome in the city center. It is a very peaceful place where people walk in circles to pray. The eyes of Buddha look out over the whole area.
Pashupatinath Temple
The most sacred Hindu site in Nepal. It sits on the banks of the river. It is a deep and spiritual place where you see the real heart of local faith.
Kathmandu Durbar Square
The old palace area. You will see ancient wood carvings that are hundreds of years old. It is the best place to see how kings once lived in Kathmandu.
Phewa Lake, Pokhara
The soul of Pokhara. A giant, quiet lake with the high mountains in the background. It is much cleaner and slower than the capital city.
The High Ridge
Our favorite spot for mountain views. From here, you see the "Big Three" peaks right in front of you. It is the most beautiful sunrise you will ever see.
Is this trip for you?
City Walking
Most of the trip is easy. We walk through temples and markets for 2 to 3 hours a day. The ground is mostly flat. If you can walk through Hong Kong Market in Siliguri, you are fine.
The Ridge Hike
Day 05 is the only "hard" day. It is a 3-hour uphill walk on a stone path. We take many breaks for tea and photos. It is not a race; we go at your speed.
Age & Health
We have taken guests from 12 to 65 years old. You don't need to be an athlete. You just need a healthy heart and knees that can handle a few stairs.
The Local Pro Truth
You will get tired, and your legs might ache a little after the ridge walk. But we handle the heavy bags, and there is always a car nearby for the city parts. It is 80% relax and 20% active.
Paperwork Sorted.
No Visa Required
For Indian citizens, there is no visa needed to enter Nepal. You can stay as long as you like for your holiday. We handle the entry forms at the Kakarbhitta border for you.
Carry Photos
Bring 04 to 06 passport-size photos with a white background. You will need these for your local SIM card, trekking permits, and some heritage site entry forms.
Original Documents
Digital copies or photocopies are not enough. You must carry the physical original cards with you. Our team will help you keep them safe during the trip.
SIM Registration
You need your ID copy and one photo to get a local Ncell or Nepal Telecom SIM. We help you get this done in the first 10 minutes after crossing the border.
The Local Pro Truth: ID Selection
The **Voter ID Card** or **Passport** are the only IDs accepted at the airport for Indian citizens. **Aadhaar Cards are often rejected at airports.** If you are flying with us, please bring your Original Voter ID or Passport.
