Sumos from Tezpur and Guwahati to Bomdila, Dirang and Tawang pass through Bhalukpong, and seats are sometimes available at the check gate. To be sure of a seat, book from Tezpur and ride through. Sit at a window if you get motion sick; the road winds steadily.
